The night time is now the right time to check out the stunning building. After sitting in the dark for the past few years, the authorities that be finally turned the lights on the CCTV Headquarters. Its smaller sister, the Television Cultural Center which was supposed to house the Beijing Mandarin Oriental Hotel, still sits in ignoble darkness as repairs begin after the <a title=\"Beijing Television Cultural Center Fire - Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Beijing_Television_Cultural_Center_fire\" target=\"_blank\">devastating fire<\/a> that <a title=\"CCTV Headquarters Fire: Rem Koolhaas Tower In Beijing Survives Blaze (UPDATED)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2009\/02\/09\/cctv-building-on-fire-ico_n_165186.html\" target=\"_blank\">gutted<\/a> the building last year.
