She was first brought to my attention via an excellent <a title=\"Beijing Beauty Queen\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=J__Iv8FQdYY\" target=\"_blank\">piece<\/a> produced by my friend Anna Sophie Loewenberg, star of the long-running online series <a title=\"Sexy Beijing\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sexybeijing.tv\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sexy Beijing<\/a>. Meimei also runs a private cross-dressing and S&amp;M parlor. Such an independent business venture is a very new phenomenon in China and symbolizes the growing <a title=\"Door to Tolerance Opens Partway As Gay Life Is Emerging in China\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/1997\/09\/02\/world\/door-to-tolerance-opens-partway-as-gay-life-is-emerging-in-china.html\" target=\"_blank\">acceptance<\/a> of the <a title=\"Little Asian Boy Dreams of Being Sexy Female Pop Star\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=94TRi2SyQg4\" target=\"_blank\">widening spectrum<\/a> of sexual diversity in the country.
